The gamjatang and the mackerel were superb! I've been wanting to visit for a while, but haven't the chance! Service is as expected and the food was worth the trip from Manhattan. Space inside is small, but it moves pretty quickly. The staff is friendly and you won't regret making a trip to Sa Rit Gol!

i kid you not this is the best place to eat in all of nj. the food: gamja tang (spicy potato meat stew), sooyook (boiled pork with scallions on the side), and soondae (blood sausage). everything is divine like truly touched by the MAGIC bc it tastes so good. the boiled pork was my favorite by far with the delicious side scallions. the space: decently big but it fills up fast the service: quick and attentive

Had to come by after hearing such high praise from friends about Sa Rit Gol - definitely left more than satisfied! Hot, savory stews that are served so promptly - with three delicious kimchi, what more can you ask for?!!

Perfect spot for a homey/soupy meal after a long day of snowboarding! My group ordered 3 different soups and the boiled pork. I got the Do Ga Ni Tang, which was really flavorful and had a generous amount of meat. My group also really enjoyed their soups, it definitely hit the spot! A bunch of other tables around us got the steamed pork feet, which I would love to come back and try.

If you're looking for a casual place to satisfy a Korean soup craving, this is the one! There are a bunch of soupy options on the menu to choose from as well as other traditional meat dishes. For 3 of us, we each ordered a soup and the boiled pork dish to share. The soups came out of the kitchen bubbling hot with a side of rice, the food was overall tasty and the banchan was spicy. It was definitely a cozy meal for a cold winter night. We came in around 8pm and they let us know the kitchen was closing soon (I think around 8:30) but the service was still quick and efficient. They were out of a few items at that time (including the gam ja tang that I was eying), but I'll just have to come back to try! Tip: You mostly have to park on the street to eat here unless Bank of America is closed, then you can park there.

After an early flight to Newark on Thanksgiving, I was starving and craving for some good Korean food! Thankful for Sa Rit Gol for staying opened on the holidays for people to enjoy their delicious food! I came during lunch hours and it was packed but with the quick turnaround, the wait for a table was not too bad! I got the ox bone soup with sliced beef. It was super delicious and the perfect comfort food on a chilly day. The beef slices were cooked perfectly. You can flavor the soup with salt and pepper to your taste. You can peek in the kitchen where they have a huge cauldron where they prepare the ox tail broth daily with amazing ingredients. The side dishes also paired well with the soups. The trick is to add some of the pickled radish and the sauce into the soup for extra flavor and kick. This was a delicious and satisfying meal to kick off a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! I will definitely come back to this place often!

This is a great casual spot that seems to specialize in soups. I got the gam ja tang and it hit the spot. Lots of flavorful meat that left me stuffed. So glad I found this place , will definitely be back.

A fantastic spot that really hit my craving for some Korean soup. The complementary kimchi banchan (3 different kinds!) were tasty and differing in texture and flavors. The soup came sizzling hot and is HUGE in size. I came for lunch with a friend and couldn't finish it. Luckily, they offer to go cartons to take your leftover soups home. It was pretty much 2 meals for $17... pretty hard to beat! Service was great - the staff were quick and attentive. Decor is what you'd expect from a no thrills spot too - pictures of the top dishes were plastered over the walls with their names (which I really appreciated!) and menus were pre-placed at each seat (paper menus). I highly recommend and would definitely come back

The Sul lung tang was good but the flank meat was dry like it is at most places. The knee meat is good but you have to like cartilage. They ran out of chadol and I'd be curious to try that. The sundae was good but it was missing the 부추 무침 that comes in the 모듬. I'd ask if they can provide it next time.
